About Us

Train ‘Em Up exists to help equip young parents in fulfilling the biblical mandate of discipling their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Discipleship in the home can feel overwhelming and unattainable—as Christian parents we know we’re supposed to do it, yet we can be perplexed as to what it could look like. And oftentimes, this work is difficult, discouraging and exhausting, with little fruit to show for it. We can easily find ourselves in ruts and out of rhythms. As Christians, we need encouragement to be spurred on to love and good works, including the area of family discipleship.

At Train ‘Em Up we want to provide helpful and practical resources to help strengthen parents’ competency in intentionally pouring into their kids. Our desire is to encourage parents to be intentional in the ordinary flow of life, as well as implement regular rhythms of more formal biblical discipleship—showing that it can be fun, simple and kid friendly. Our aim is to see parents faithfully persevere in this good work of raising their children in the fear and instruction of the Lord in the hope of them trusting in Jesus and following him (Ephesians 6:4; Psalm 78:5-8).
